Eagerly awaited Musical Mondays lineup announced in Wakefield

The highly anticipated lineup for this year’s Musical Mondays has finally been revealed, bringing much excitement to the community. The series, known for its vibrant and diverse musical offerings, owes its success to the dedicated support of the Municipality of La Pêche, MRC des Collines de l’Outaouais, the presenting sponsor Moulin Wakefield Mill, and various other sponsors.
This year, a few significant updates have been introduced. Firstly, Musical Mondays will adopt a by-donation or pass-the-hat format, making live music accessible to all while ensuring fair compensation for the artists. Attendees are encouraged to be generous with their contributions.
Food options at the events have also been enhanced, with a partnership with WakeSide ensuring the availability of vegan and gluten-free options at every event.
The lineup for Musical Mondays promises a range of performances to look forward to: Tractor will kick off the series on 24th June. Following this, Homesteady will perform on Sunday, 30th June, making for an exceptional weekend event. Allysann Mei takes the stage on 8th July, followed by Rabbit Stew on 15th July. Striving for Beauty will perform on 22nd July, and Bray & MacLean will close out the month on 29th July. In August, the series continues with Ka Danse & Les Simoons on the 5th, The Artichoke Hearts on the 12th, Lindsay Ferguson on the 19th, and Kate Weekes on the 26th.
Doors will open at 6 pm with music starting at 6:30 pm. The events will take place at the Centre patrimonial de la Maison Fairbairn, located at 45 ch de Wakefield Heights, Wakefield.
