Canada Day across in Low, a ‘heck of a show!’
Bonnie James
Canada Day in Low kicked off with a large parade of 35 entries with floats, horses, and vehicles of all sizes, organized by Ellen Rice-Hogan of the Canada Day Committee. The parade was followed by festivities at the Heritage Hall including presentations on local history and genealogy, field games for the kids, a BBQ, and live entertainment from Sugar and Old Spice and Your Porch or Mine. As always, the evening ended with a magnificent fireworks display. Eight-year-old Jackson Normand said the parade and the fireworks were “A heck of a show!”
